If you want to break up a large room you could build a wall or build an 8'6" tall, 8'wide, arched top bed with raised paneled back and adjustable bookcases throughout the head of the bed. This project was designed to break up a large room, with the rear of the bed backed up to a staircase to provide privacy when entering the room from downstairs. (cont. next picture)
